How can i get a Window 7 Pro repair download my windows 7 program quit and will not start up properly.
Hi,
Feb 15, 2012 It depends on what you really want and mean with Repair Disk. If you want to run e.g. SystemRestore you can use any Win7 DVD/PE Envirionment and than run the Maintainance Tools like System Restore. With CMD Console this should also work with IBW PE envirionment.
Repair Options:
Do a System Restore in Safe Mode.
'How to Do a System Restore in Windows 7':
'Advanced startup options (including safe mode)'
'The Advanced Boot Options screen lets you start Windows in advanced troubleshooting modes. You can access the menu by turning on your computer and pressing the F8 key before Windows starts (Tap F8 at the rate of about once per second)'
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
If that does not fix it, follow this method:
Make your own System Repair Disk from the information in this Tutorial:
'How to Create a Windows 7 System Repair Disc'
'This will show you how to create a Windows 7 system repair disc to be able to use to boot to system recovery options to help recover your Windows 7 installation if you don't have a Windows installation disc, can't find your Windows installation disc, or can't access the recovery options provided by your computer manufacturer.
A system repair disc is not able to install Windows 7.

If you are unable to boot your Windows 7 to create a Windows 7 System Repair Disc, then you could create it on another computer to use on your computer.'

Reinstall Options:
You do not say if Windows 7 came preinstalled (Dell, HP, etc.) or you bought your own Retail License.
If preinstalled, you can contact your Laptop/Computer Manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of Recovery Disks.
They should do that for a small cost, IF they still have them available.
And if you never received a Recovery Disk when you received your Laptop/computer there should be a Recovery Partition on the Hard Drive to reinstall Windows back to how it was when new.
Here are the Key/s to press at Boot to start the Recovery Process back to Factory Settings (new condition). Under each Manufacturer in the list below are the instructions in the respective links for you to follow on how to use their Recovery Partition
Acer – Press Left Alt + F10 Keys.
Advent – Tap F10 until Starting System Recovery appears
Asus – Press F9
Dell – Press F8 which will bring up Advanced Boot Optionshttp://www.dell.com/support/troubleshooting/us/en/19/KCS/KcsArticles/ArticleView?docid=DSN_362066
eMachines: Press Left Alt Key + F10
Fujitsu – Press F8
Gateway: Press Alt + F10 Keys - As Acer owns them: press Left Alt + F10 Keys as per Acer eRecovery
HP – Press F11 repeatedly
Lenovo – Press F11
LG – Press F11
Packard Bell: Press and hold the ALT key while pressing repeatedly the F10 key. Release the keys when a message displays that Windows is loading files.
Samsung – Press F4
Sony Vaio – Tap F10 until the Edit Boot Options screen is displayed
Toshiba – Press 0 (zero)
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
Or you can also borrow the exact same Retail Windows 7 Edition DVD and use your Product Key to reinstall.
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
Or you can use this for preinstalled or Retail Licenses
Download the correct ISO file and make your own disk and use the Product Key that is on the COA Sticker.
And here are instructions on how to burn ISO images to disk:

Then do a clean install:
The COA sticker is either on the underside of the Laptop or in the Battery Compartment.
With a Desktop it is either on the side, rear or top of the Computer Case.
Using the downloaded ISO file Method may require phone Activation.
If it does require phone Activation, do not follow the Auto Prompts, but hold on for a real person to explain to as to what has been done for re-installation purposes
'How to Activate Windows 7 by Phone'
The above method also will require you to go to your Computer Manufacturer's website > Support and Downloads Section > locate your Model Number and Operating System > then download and install the latest Drivers for it.

Hi Boyd,
Welcome to Microsoft Answers!
You may try burning the repair disk at a lower speed, as at times due to a high speed burning the disk is not readable.
Also, the disk that you are creating it is getting corrupted while it is being created. What you may do is, run a System File Checker (SFC) Tool and the try creating a repair disk.
Steps to perform SFC scan:
1. Click the Start button
2. From the Start Menu, Click All Programs followed by Accessories
3. In the Accessories menu, Right Click on the Command Prompt option
4. From the drop down menu that appears, Click on the 'Run as administrator' option
5. If you have the User Account Control (UAC) enabled, you will be asked for authorization prior to the command prompt opening. You may simply need to press the Continue button if you are the administrator or insert the administrator password etc.
6. In the Command Prompt window, type: sfc /scannow and then press Enter
7. A message will appear stating that 'The system scan will begin'
8. Be patient because the scan may take some time
9. If any files require replacing, SFC will replace them. You may be asked to insert your Windows 7 for this process to continue
10. If everything is okay you should, after the scan, see the following message 'Windows resource protection did not find any integrity violations'
11. After the scan has completed, close the command prompt window, restart the computer and check.
For more information please visit the below given link:
How to use the System File Checker tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files on Windows Vista or on Windows 7 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833
Once you have run the scan try creating a repair disk and check if you get the same error when you try to boot.
Hope this information is helpful.
